I love it! Thank you for your upgrading precious video. I’m moved this. As I have been India to see steam engin in 1993-94. Unfortunately I didn’t bring video camera not to be rubbed. I could only take photos about them. I still remember deeply the sound of them. Especially WG tile . When I saw one, I was derpy fascinated its sound as if growing and asiteting the earth.just like 12:50! Thank you!

Nostalgia....i am from Maharashtra...used to travel to Kolhapur in seventies...on steam driven trains...lots of smoke...coal particals in eyes..stoppages for water refill...but it was fun...till 80...Diesel locos thereafter...till 2010..Electrification in full speed thereafter...request you to visit india and see progress done by Indian railways...big leap forward now...😊😊

Steam was standard on branch lines and some main lines too when i was travelling in 84 85 and 86 . It was a different era . One hot day we were on the express from Bombay to Banaras when it just stopped in the middle of nowhere . We stuck it our in the carriage with the fans clattering away until it became to sticky . Walking to the front we discovered the old ladys boiler had exploded ! We had to make our own way fro there .

We are Railway folks from Bhusawal. Steam, Diesel and finally electric engines were worked on by my husband. What a great time that was.

I have to give props to the crew on the WP Pacific here 19:00 For having such low grade coal, i find it impressive that the crew were able to get her steaming properly with light gray wisps of exhaust steam Indian coal tends to have lots of impurities from what i can understand
